Apart from wound cleansing, these multi-purpose dressing sponges come in handy for wiping and preparing medical devices, applying topical medication and more. 4 ply construction provides thickness and bulk to protect injuries from impact and improves absorption capabilities. Nonwoven sponges have more space between their fibers, so they're able to absorb more and also leave minimum lint residue behind. Each non-sterile, non-woven sponge measures 4 x 4 in, a convenient size for dressing moderate injuries.
